Hello. I was just in contact with the lead honcho of mmoguildsites about if there has been any news about the domain name issue and he says that there hasn't.
Now he suggested that if we don't get in contact with them ourselves... then it would be easiest for us to buy a new domain name similar to the old one like tabularasaroleplayers.net or .org
Now I am asking you: Should we wait a bit longer and try to make contact with the owners ourselves? Second: Looking at the current state of this site, is there any point in getting a new one?
I for instance vote to wait for a while and try to contact the owners.

Kinda um..,. hard to vote when I don't have permission to >.>;
I'd say a mix between waiting to contact the owner(s) or buying the new domain. |

I shall vote by word, since I have no permission
I have been trying to contact the owner myself, so I am all over the wait and see...if they can't be reached, then it needs to get a new name, cause I'm bringin' in the paddles and zapping this place back to life if it kills me |

I have contacted the current owner, and we will see what comes of it. He knows I am willing to take over to keep us alive.

My opinion is kill off TRRP. As much as I loved TRRP, I think we should kill it off, bury it, and remember it as the great place it was back when we first loved the game.
Now my opinion is though we need to replace it though, but replace it with something much more RP like. a) We make it more RP from the bottom up. Call it Fort Morrison or something, and make it a place. Make it more immersive. Now totally immersive, but immersive enough. b) Part of the reason for "Fort Pheonix" would be a stated place for the 131st, 105th, and 28th to talk alliance crap in hidden forums. As much as we agree that the three should remain distinct, we also all agree that the three clans have always been close. By having one distinct location for the three to meet, we don't have to all surf between the three different websites to talk, or make one clan seem to always be the alpha clan. Fort Pheonix is a neutral site. Others of course can be invited in. We play this into the site where like Penumbra there is always something seeming to happen behind the scenes. c) This also allows the current owner to keep it without the hassle of us having to wait on them. Create a new fort, make it the new TRRP, recreate it from the bottom up. TRRP died, pure on simple, and there was a reason it died. We all know what it was, no need to go into it here. Maybe its time we move on and let the fond memories of TRRP rest in peace, and the not so fond memories die in a blaze, and we move on with something new. I loved the old TRRP, but I think its time we move on, create something new. It can be our grand statement of sorts, we're a pheonix rising from the flames of the old, why not proclaim that with a new site all together.

I can't say I am against the idea, assuming the stuff that is here now can be transferred as needed. For instance, people have been keeping their stories here, and I love going back and referencing things. If we move, I'd like to see people repost that stuff.
I am more than willing to take on the responsibility of getting it set up, if that is what everyone wants, leaving each clan leader as an admin to keep an even playing field for all involved. I think one person should be in charge, though, to assure the domain stays up, and we are up on the RGTR site. |

No need with the game's imminent closing.

This is a community site, the game's status doesn't much matter as far as I'm concerned. If you feel differently, as I have said before, I am willing to take the site off your hands.
