To whom it may concern,
The ration bars we are given as part of our daily nurishment are a joke! Sure they are full of vitamins and nutients we need to keep fighting, but come on where do you get these flavors from, and why must they always taste so nasty? Soylent Green, Teriaki Chiken, and the ever present Strawberry, you'd figure with our current technology level we could make a good tasting ration bar, but no. We are still left wiht old-fashioned glop. In order to correct this situation I ask other to post their ideas for new flavors and consistencies for our ration bars. With enough posts under this thread on the V.N.B.B our leaders should come to the conclusion there is something we can do about this, and they might make some changes. Please post under here with some new flavors, oh and if you don't know whats wrong with Soylent Green it was a processed food that was created due to overpopulation and a sudden famine, and is made out of corpes. Oh and please dont suggest Stroyent either come on people we're not the Strogg!!

Awww maaan I heard stroyent tastes like pork chops...
OOH falvours: pork, ham, soy (for the vegies), spicy (curry, pepper, jalapeño[on a steeek]) sweet (chocolate, marzipan, SUGAR (for the love of god, how can you mess up a simple carbohydrate like C12H22O11? This stuff can be found in nearly ANY plant in varying concentrations) And booze that tastes like booze (I'd even take vodka, it's usually 60% water, and 40% ethyl alcohol). Aaaaand don't forget stroyent...

Finally someone decided to revolt againt this atrocity.
I want proper chocolate. I am still dreaming about the 70% choco bars you could get back on Earth. Atleast synthesise something that tastes and looks like it. And, naturally I want bacon taste. Boarger bacon just isnt the same. /signed Thor Newstead
